Friedrichshafen in summer:

In summer is the time of the big festivals in Friedrichshafen. In July, for example, the five-day "Seehasenfest", a children's and homeland festival, takes place. A play performed by children of a Friedrichshafen school, funny games, various rides for young and old and a big fireworks display - a varied day for the whole family. The area is pram-friendly.

At the end of July, the "Kulturufer" cultural festival starts in Friedrichshafen. Up until August, theatre plays, films and music are performed here at several locations directly on the shores of Lake Constance. Pantomimes, jugglers and clowns line the streets between the big circus tents, in the children's theatre everything from puppet theatre to fairy tales is offered here, especially on the big "action field" children of all ages can really let off steam with countless participatory workshops and play opportunities. Rent a buggy from toddgo and explore the wonderland at the lake.

Friedrichshafen also offers several outdoor and indoor swimming pools, where you can enjoy the beautiful weather of the Lake Constance region in summer, as well as a leisurely boat trip - whether on a real boat or a pedal boat. The playground in front of the Zeppelin Museum is also an insider tip: here the little ones can climb through a miniature Zeppelin.

The region around Friedrichshafen is also a wonderful place for hiking trips. You can get the child seat for your car and the baby carrier at toddgo, so nothing stands in the way of a wonderful day in nature!

Friedrichshafen on rainy days:

Even in rainy weather you can experience something in Friedrichshafen as a family. The school museum is one such opportunity. Here 1000 years of school history are presented in classrooms, some of which are furnished with original furniture. Here, children not only learn about what school was like in the past, but can also take a seat in a classroom from the previous century.

Friedrichshafen in winter:

In winter, the Christmas market in Friedrichshafen is always worth a visit. This takes place from the end of November until shortly before Christmas on Buchhornplatz. Countless stands and stalls on the shores of Lake Constance offer everything that the Christmas heart desires, in addition to regional delicacies, from gingerbread and mulled wine to red sausages. There is also a large skating rink where young and old can have fun together on skates.
